Cortesi Gallery was founded in 2013 in Lugano by the Cortesi family, Stefano and their two sons Andrea and Lorenzo.
The gallery specializes in European art movements from the 1950s to today. From 2015 to 2019 Cortesi Gallery opened an office in Mayfair, London and in 2017 it inaugurated an office in Milan.
Cortesi Gallery is characterized by the desire to create high-level projects often in collaboration with specialists in the sector, such as external curators, researchers, artists' archives and foundations.

The exhibition program reflects the gallery's experience with important exhibitions by artists from the ZERO Group, New Trends, Optical, Kinetics, Conceptual and Minimal Art.
In addition to the agenda that Cortesi Gallery dedicates to Italian and international artists of the twentieth century, it also works with a careful eye on the world of contemporary art.
Every year the Cortesi Gallery participates in the main international art fairs, such as TEFAF (New York and Maastricht), The Armory Show (New York), Arte Fiera (Bologna), MIART (Milan), Masterpiece (London), BRAFA (Brussels ) and many others.

Novalis Contemporary Art Design gallery was founded in Hong Kong (China) in 2012 by art expert William Figliola.
The gallery specializes in showcasing a large amount of objects designed by Memphis Group, the famous Italian design movement born in 1981 and led by Ettore Sottsass. The group created furniture, fabrics, ceramics, glasses by prestigious designers and architects as Ettore Sottsass, Michele de Lucchi, Matteo Thun, Marco Zanini, Aldo Cibic and many others.
Novalis is a mix between an art gallery and a cultural center, designed to investigate and disseminate the connections between art, design, architecture, and photography with specific research into the avant-grade and contemporary.
